I am sure ladies don’t need to be told about the importance of styling on your big day…
I mean why else does Pinterest not leave our hand from proposal till the wedding day.
I just fancied giving you some tips as a recently married lady…
Firstly Pinterest is exceptionally good for ideas. However, there is only so many times that you can allow yourself to be devastated, when you discover that dress was a haute couture gown that would cost more than a million, or that those shoes were specially designed for that celebs wedding or that those hair accesories were actually royal jewels.
YES we love to love and hate pinterest. It can not only give you major inspiration, but it can make your wedding budget literally double in as little as a few pins.
So ladies keep this in mind. I know that my budget stretched to add those Balloons for props, to buy all those crafty bits and bobs, some of which turned into major Pinterest fails. Don’t get me wrong it was fun, but take it all with a pinch of salt. OH its fab for etsy buys though!
So the point I was getting to.. I have fabulous suppliers for all my wedding accessories, for my hair and make up too.
Let me just say my accessories were so beautiful. I specifically sourced from Bella Brilla because Kirsteen, the Director of the company, specifically sources ALL of her stock from local independent designers. As a small business owner, I am a sucker for local talent and her products do not disappoint. I can’t express how fabulous her products are. She hosts exclusive styling events, so get yourself booked in to one of those!
My wedding hair & make up were also incredible. Laura (hair) and Lynsey (make up) couldn’t have done a better job. When I watch the video back I can’t believe how good I look & they both lasted so well! They also really tailored the look to my accessories which was lovely that it all worked so well together!
